Project Setup window
Estimating – Added new tab for ‘Bids’. This tab provides for the entry and management of multiple bids. The new reporting module relative to this bid information will follow soon.
Detailing – Submitted log window now has a column for ‘Returned Date’ and ‘Notes’
General

Added field for ‘Building Owner’. This is an optional field which draws from the Customer master.
- Added field for ‘Rating’. This is controlled by the ‘Rating Table’ maintenance window (See Maintenance Menu) and is user defined and is designed to be used to manage priorities for bids, but may be also used as a general purpose management feature.
- Added field for ‘Building Cost’ for reference purposes only.

| SpecWriter Module
Openings Tab has two new columns for ‘Door Description’ and ‘Frame Description’ and are controlled by equivalent master tables in the ‘Maintenance Menu’
New export option provided for exporting Assa Abloy spec-writers spec’s to Assa’s SpecTrak system.

| Anchor Preps may now be selected through the ‘Prep Selection Window’. This allows the assignment of different anchors based on jamb type.

| The Security Manager window now has a button named ‘connected’ to show connected users.

| Manufacturer Attributes for doors and frames will now default the base attribute to the new attribute being added.

| Prep Default window option to ‘save to history’ now gives a message when the user is not authorized to for this operation.

New reports
Estimating – Added new report type ‘Opening Set Quote’ – This report lists sets with unique hardware and doors and frames showing sell pricing. Hardware sets must adhere to the ‘unique product’ for assigned openings in order to generate this report.
Estimating & Detailing – Costing and Pricing report type now has an additional report type called ‘Product Summary’ with an option to show/hide sell prices. This report shows kitted product definition (ie. Frames as complete frames rather than component pieces.)

For change orders, two new columns, ‘Cost Deduct’ and ‘Qty Deduct’, have been added for better identification of product being deducted.
- The operation of adding miscellaneous labor/charges, is now performed in the new tab ‘Miscellaneous Cost’.
- Tax Exempt and Tax on Cost is now performed using the new icons ‘Tax Exempt Wizard’ and ‘Tax on Cost Wizard’.
- The process to change product sections is now performed using the new icon ‘Section Change Wizard’
Miscellaneous Cost Tab - This new tab is used to enter miscellaneous costs and charges for the project. Use the right click to add new rows where you will be prompted to enter the Section, Cost Group, cost amount and any applicable notes.
Project Pricing Tab – For change orders, this window now segregates cost deducts from cost adds allowing for easier pricing and reporting of change order contract amounts.

| Frame Takeoff Entry now has a column for hardware set as read-only for filtering purposes. |
| Restrict access to any project related window for projects being assigned to an authorized division to the user.

| Hardware worksheet has a new ‘Properties’ section for options designated as ‘Note required’. |
Tips & Tricks
Takeoff Window – when right-clicking
on the validation check box, a menu appears allowing the user to show
- Only validated rows
- Only un-validated rows
- All rows
Takeoff Window –entering # in a column in the replace line, clears out the values from the column when replace applied
Complete Window – double clicking on a column from the opening grid, filters openings having just the double clicked value (for ex, if double clicked on a row on the opening type and the opening type for that row is AA, the system will show only AA openings;) a button shows on top of the grid showing that the opening list is filtered; when the button is clicked the filter is removed opening grid showing again the whole list of openings.
