Partial Update 7-5
The following changes are included in this update:
HINGE PREPS
Correction made to hinge defaults. Some hinge preps were showing a quantity of 3, 4, etc. and should be showing a quantity of 1 because the hinge preps are based on specific quantities in lieu of individual
This has been corrected.
DOOR TYPES
Addition of new ENG types and explanation of pricing difference between standard and engineered
In the example below of existing door types, FV would be used to order a standard FV type with no variations. This gets you a door with cutout and kit installed.
The FV-ENG would be used to order a non-standard FV with special options such as cutout only, or cutout and channel, location, etc., and all pertinent information must be provided by the user
For ENG types you must select all required preps from the LITES/LVR/ENG table to obtain a correct price. AHM users must enter required preps, notes etc. Properties have been assigned for advantage users to enter the required information but preps must also still be selected.
CC1201 FV Standard Vision Lite Type 1 10"x10" CC1200 112.00
CC2150 FV-ENG Engineered - Molding/Cutout/Channel CC1200
The following louver type examples are similar to the above with one exception. The charge for F2L only gives you pricing for cutouts only. You must add (2) 12” x 12” louvers. If you do not add the louvers when you select the F2L, F3L, etc., the factory is going to provide them regardless and, your cost will be more than what the Purchase Order indicates
CC1721 F2L 2 - 12" x 12" Cutouts *ADD LOUVERS* CC1200 48.00
CC7414 F2L-ENG 2 - Spec Cutouts, Location *ADD LOUVERS* CC1200
CC7416 F3L-ENG 3 - Spec Cutouts, Location *ADD LOUVERS* CC1200
CC7424 F4L-ENG 4 - Spec Cutouts, Location *ADD LOUVERS* CC1200
DOOR LABELS
The following label types have been added to the Fire table for doors.
G 1 Hour
D UL 1 1/2 Hour Exterior Use
E UL 3/4 Hour Exterior Use
Advantage Users
We received a report that when the SLS (Special Location Strike) prep was selected it was being applied to the active leaf in lieu of the inactive leaf. This was tested and the problem could not be recreated. However, we have made a change to these records to update the date last changed in case there was an issue there. If anyone is still having problems with the preps in the LOCK/SL Table please contact support immediately.
