Access to In-Product Assistance
When Support Session is selected on the Help menu, the provider for secure remote access to Advantive support is now BeyondTrust instead of TeamViewer.

Advantage
Import Avaware XML Files
From the Tools menu > Project Import Utility command into Comsense Opening Suite, you can now import Avaware XML files using the Import Avaware Project option.
- When you do the import, you can create a new project or estimate or use and existing project or estimate code.
- You can use more than one session to import the file. When you open the same file and previously opened project, the system automatically loads the information that was previously mapped so that you can start where you left off.

Ensured Accuracy of Quote Details for Projects
To ensure accurate quote details for projects:
- You must specify a value for Mfgr’s Quote Reference to specify a Quote Expiry Date in the entry on the Project Discounts dialog.
- The system removes the Quote Expiry date in the entry when you remove the value for Mfgr’s Quote Reference.

Easier Tracking of Quotes Issued for Net Pricing
So that you can track quotes that are issued for net pricing, a value for Discount Structure is not required to specify a Mfgr’s Quote Reference and Quote Expiry Date on the Project Discounts dialog.

To prevent the system from blocking or deadlocking when multiple users used the same functions at the same time, the handling of concurrent requests has been improved.

View the EDI Configuration in Comsense Advantage
Similar to Comsense Enterprise, you now display the configuration for EDI using the Tools > System Administration > EDI Configuration option available in Comsense Advantage.

Review the SQL Activity in Comsense Advantage
Similar to Comsense Enterprise, there is now a Show SQL Activity option on the Help menu in Comsense Advantage. There are tabs for reviewing:
- Activities that are blocked
- Details for current activity (such as the session ID, status, and the SQL executed)
- Details for the sessions (such as the session ID, last read and write time, and SQL executed)

When Duplicate was selected on the Inventory Favorites dialog for a User-Maintained Door/Frame, an error was displayed indicating there was an unhandled exception and the program closed. The option now functions as expected for user-maintained special doors.

Selecting a blank Invoice field on the Shipment tab of the Order Management window while another Invoice window was open triggered an unhandled exception error. The process now opens a new blank Invoice window and displays a message indicating that no invoice exists, preventing the error.

Opening attached files in the Related Documents pane that use the newer formats (such as .xlsx and .docx) was causing corruption-related error messages. Documents now open normally without recovery prompts.

Previously, entering letters in the Waybill and Number of Pieces fields caused an exception, preventing the Receiving from being saved. Validation has been implemented so that the Number of Pieces field is now highlighted and prompts for a numeric value, preventing an incomplete Receiving from being created.

Previously, the Sold Date for an Estimate project was cleared when its associated Detailed project was unsold and remained blank even after that Detailed project was resold. The underlying process has been updated so that reselling the Detailed project now automatically repopulates the original Sold Date on the related Estimate project.

Changing the Quantity value in the Openings tab of the Hardware window previously removed the default hardware-set prep assigned in the Default Prep window, but the update now ensures the prep remains intact when the opening quantity is modified.

Using the Find Original feature in a change order failed to display the Heading Selection window, preventing heading numbers from being updated. The prompt now appears automatically after openings are selected, allowing heading numbers to be changed.

Preamble .docx files were not copied when a Detailing project was created from an Estimating estimate and blank .doc files were generated instead. The copy process now preserves the original .docx files so Preamble documents open correctly in Detailing without manual intervention.

The option to assign openings to Misc. Costs was not being displayed after applying the latest update to the product. When auto fit columns is now used, the opening selection button (binoculars) is now repositioned on top of the last column.

The context-menu option to move catalogs to a different division was unavailable in the Catalog Settings window in Advantage, preventing catalogs from being reassigned. The option has been added, allowing catalogs to be moved to the desired division through the context menu.

Previously, selecting Autofit Columns in the Component Costing tab failed to resize all columns within the visible area, leaving a small horizontal scroll. This functionality has been updated so that columns now automatically resize to fit the full width of the screen in the Component Costing by Manufacturer tab, eliminating the need to scroll.

Column width adjustments in the Keying window were not retained, causing some columns to extend beyond the visible area. Custom widths are now saved when the window closes and automatically restored at the next open.

Previously, arrow keys could not select an attribute when the Frame or Door attribute dropdown contained only one option. A blank entry is now set as the first value in each attribute dropdown in the Takeoff and Complete windows, enabling keyboard navigation.

When working with Detailing project, properties could not be edited in the Complete window. Now prep and door attribute properties can be reviewed and entered in the Prep Selection window and the door attribute properties can be reviewed and changed in the Door Takeoff window.

When a new Opening Suite user was created, the system assigned them to the incorrect database. The process now assigns new users to the correct database, ensuring users can log in and perform operations such as opening detailing and estimating projects, running pricing, completing openings, and accessing enterprise screens without issue.

When Detailing was selected for wood doors, the manufacturer was changed to VI, and using Prep Selection by Description was selected on the Complete screen, the same Property value list was being displayed for every prep. The logic has been corrected to ensure the appropriate property list displays for each prep.
