Opening Suite - Single User:
- 2 GHz Pentium Processor or higher
- Windows XP Professional, Vista Business or Ultimate Edition, Windows 7 Pro,
Enterprise or Ultimate
- 50 GB available Hard Disk space
- 2 GB RAM (4 GB RAM or higher recommended
with Windows Vista/Windows 7)
- Video card capable of 1024x768 or higher
resolution (1280x1024 recommended)
- DVD-ROM drive for installation
- High speed Internet access
- Microsoft Word 2003 or later
- Tape or external disc backup
- UPS - 3-5 minute standby on full load
- Printer

Opening Suite - Workstations for Multi-user
- 2 GHz or higher processor
- Windows XP Pro, Vista Business or Vista Ultimate edition, Windows 7 Pro,
Enterprise or Ultimate
- Microsoft Word 2003 or later
- 6 GB available hard disk space
- 2 GB RAM (4 GB RAM or higher recommended with Windows Vista/Windows 7)
- Video card capable or 1024x768 resolution (1280x1024 or higher recommended)
Opening Suite - Server for 5-10 Users:
- Dual Core 2 GHz Processor or Higher
- Windows Server 2008 - 32bit or x64. 64 bit
recommended.
- 100 GB available hard drive space on separate disk from operating system.
- 4 GB RAM or higher
- 100 or 1000 Mb/s Network Interface cards
Opening Suite - Server for 11+ Users:
- 2 Dual Core 2.13GHz Processors or higher. The faster the better.
- Windows Server 2008 - 32bit or x64. 64 bit
recommended.
- 120 GB available hard disk space on separate disk from operating system.
- 12 GB RAM or higher
- 100 or 1000 Mb/s Network Interface cards
Opening Suite - Server general requirements
- Separate physical disks are recommended for the
SQL Server data files and log files. This is a
best practice from Microsoft that isolates the
operating system from the data files, and the data
files from the log files.
- Tape backup or other offsite backup media
- UPS - Minimum 6 minute standby on full
load
- Network switch
- DVD-ROM drive for software installation
- High speed Internet access
- Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix
Presentation Server are recommended for
multi-branch or other remote access to the
system. These systems can also provide
an alternative if workstation hardware does
not meet minimum requirements. These
remote access solutions should run on a
machine separate from the SQL Server
machine.

AHM:
- Expanded Memory (EMS) - Be sure to confirm this capability when purchasing new equipment
- Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Word 2003 or later (required for certain Door and Frame purchase orders
- Note: AHM will NOT run natively in Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2. AHM is a 16bit application and Microsoft has removed the 16bit DOS subsystem from these products. To run AHM on one of these systems, a remote connection to a compatible system will be required such as Microsoft Windows Terminal Services in Windows Server 2003 or a Citrix product.
In Windows 7, Windows XP Mode can be used to run AHM.
