Ø Dorma has a new lock line that is available for download. This is an addition to their existing database and will be automatically updated for existing subscribers. Ø Available shortly will be Pemko’s new Canadian price list. Ø We have also been working closely with Mag Security and expect to have their database, complete with images, available very shortly. Ø Soon after NGP announced its lites and louvers product line, Comsense Inc. had the e.Catalog available for download. This e.Catalog is a separate subscription from the NGP weather-stripping, threshold, and accessories catalog since it is designed to be used with Hollow Metal and Wood Doors. The e.Catalog department at Comsense Inc. continues to set the standard for electronic commerce in the door, frame, and hardware industry.
Program Updates
There are many enhancements in this version of the software and listed below are some of the more prominent ones: 1. A sorting utility has been added in the total opening window to maintain the sorting sequence you want for your openings. a. Click on Complete in the navigation tool bar to open the Complete Opening Window b. Open a project c. Click on the tool bar click the Save Order button which is the second button from the left of the toolbar. d. Choose to sort by Openings, Building Areas, Hardware Sets, or Headings. e. In the sort window right click on the opening you want to move and choose move up, move down, etc. f. Click OK and the sort sequence will be saved. Now you can sort openings in any manner you want while working with them and return them to your defined sort sequence by clicking on the heading of the sort you saved. 2. The Pricing Window has been enhanced with a tab for product summary counts and costing. This is a view only window that will give you an overview of product quantity and cost. 3. The Advantage import utility can now import tax codes from AHM Plus. Each month the Program Updates section of the e.News letter will contain information on the most current version of the software and enhancements that have been made.
