Mohawk has updated the door Fire Rating table to include preps for positive pressure.

The only label available for positive pressure fire rating and smoke is 20PPS

Select one of the following per door as required:

CAT-A      Positive Pressure Concealed Intumescent

CAT-B      Positive Pressure Frame Mtd. Intumescent

ADVANTAGE USERS

Properties listed in the LABEL TABLE

Take-off Description           Category A (Concealed Intumescent)

                                                Category B (Frame Mtd Intumescent)

Mfg. Attribute                      POS.PRESSURE

When required select CAT-A or CAT-B

These properties are set to “Not Required”

This gives you the option to leave out when positive pressure is not required.

AHM & ADVANTAGE USERS NOTE:

ALL Positive Pressure Doors - FACTORY PRICED

Considering this, the user is responsible for selecting these preps.

Pricing varies by door configuration

The proper codes must be submitted when requesting a price from the factory

INVENTORIED DOORS

Since PP doors are factory priced there should not be a risk of creating duplicate inventory.

However if you have stock doors with PP labels you will need to create new inventory and then assign equivalent product to your current inventoried doors.
